The Princess in Red attends the 2012 CCMA Awards and receives the Generation Award
Hello Taylor Nation,
Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who started writing this while the CCMA Awards were still on my TV, we wish we could’ve been in Saskatoon but the company jet is in the shop this week.
The Princess in Red attended the awards ceremony in Saskatchewan. She was the first presenter and gave the Female Artist of the Year to Carolyn Dawn Johnson. The Sparkly Dressed showed up later as the recipient of the first ever CCMA Generation Award in a video montage narrated by Bryan Adams.
The awards also featured performances from Dean Brody, Johnny Reid, Terri Clark, Miranda Lambert with the Pistol Annies, Jason Aldean and Eric Church. Dean Brody won Single of the Year, Johnny Reid won for Male Artist of the Year. Album of the Year went to Dean Brody for Dirt.
Watch as the Queen of Sparks presents the Female Artist of the Year. Thanks to melissalyons77 for posting! Don’t miss when she leans into the mic to check the sound. Adorable
Here’s an interview with CBC The National’s Deana Sumanac backstage at the CCMAs. Thanks to AllTaylorSwift13 for posting!
She revealed ten of the sixteen songs of the Red album where written solely by her while six are result of collaborations.
Taylor Swift will also appear at CityTV in Toronto, Ontario for an interview. Hope some Canadian Swifties manage to see her. I wish I could be there too, but work calls. I gots bills to pay.
