Taylor Swift has been chosen as one of the 25 more intriguing people by People magazine.
She also has the top spot of the ten best mannered people of 2009, a list compiled by the National League of Junior Cotillions according to MMD Newswire.
Now, from a best-mannered country-pop singer she might have to do a quick wardrobe change into the Girl of Steel. As the queen of on-stage wardrobe changes she’s used to those. She’s also used to boots, mini-skirts and being nice to everyone. She also donates to charity regularly, and- wow, she only needs the cape!
It’s just a rumor in the horizon right now but according to Showbiz Spy, a hollywood insider has let it slip that the Fearless One would be considered the first choice in a possible Supergirl remake. This is by no means a confirmed rumor but I couldn’t resist blogging about it (the word you’re looking for is geek). She’s already a bonafide role model for young girls everywhere, not to mention an inspiration for a lot of her fans both female and male (I have to include myself there somehow). She’s even inspiring other established people in the entertainment business.
Butch Walker is known for producing hit albums for Katy Perry, Pink and Avril Lavigne. With his credentials, you’d think he’s not a person who’s easily impressed by someone else’s work. In a recent article on Spinner, he praised T-Swizzle’s “perfect pop” songwriting. He himself made an impromptu cover of Taylor’s You Belong With Me and posted it on his account on YouTube back in November this year (November 6, 2009).
The cover is now available through iTunes for purchase and download.
