Taylor Swift has told People magazine: “You can stay the same person, even if everything around you changes. I would like to think that everybody out there isnt’ waiting for me to trip and fall and stumble out of a club drunk. People know I’m not a party girl. I’m not hiding some dying urge to be out clubbing right now.”

Will fame change the Fearless One? So far, she has stood so strong, she’s becoming an inspiration for her peers in the entertainment industry.

She has continued to receive accolades. MTV News has now named Taylor Swift as the #2 Woman of the Year. Lady Gaga is #1.

Also, According to a list recently released by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, both Taylor and gal pal Miley Cyrus have made the short list of 63 Oscar contenders for the “Original Song” category. The nomination list will be finalized on February 2, 2010.

A very thoughtful girl, she often believes she thinks too much. Taylor believes her ‘good girl’ image is a result of her thorough analytical processes before doing anything.

Swifty has said: “I’m the kind of person who thinks and over-thinks and analyses and over-analyses, every move that I make and every word that I say and everything that I do.”

“It’s not to make sure everything is politically correct. I’ve been that way since I was a kid.”

“I think out my next step before I make it. I’m gonna make mistakes in my life… but hopefully because of the over-thinking nature… I won’t make as many mistakes.”

You can see the results of her analytical mind in the stage she uses for her Fearless Tour. Her vision was shared and created with renowned production designer Jonathan Smeeton, who has worked with talents that include Keith Urban, Peter Gabriel, Marilyn Manson, and Yoko Ono. “Taylor told me right away that she wanted a theatrical setting for the show,” Smeeton says. “It made perfect sense, because she’s a songwriter that tells stories that have a place and a setting.” You can read the full article here.

She has released a new single, Fearless from the album of the same name.  It is the first to already be certified gold before it ships to country radio.  By doing that, she has set a completely new precedent. Read the original GAC article here.
