A comic book look to fame

Comic books are officially known as graphic novels, but that’s hardly a title that people relate to.

Bluewater Comics is including Taylor Swift on their list of celebrity figures whose careers and rise to fame has been immortalized into the pages of a comic book. The graphic series Fame has already planned to feature Lady GaGa, 50 Cent, Robert Pattinson and soccer star David Beckham.

The Fame comic will chronicle Taylor Swift’s rise to fame, which may not be as swift as the media will have you believe. Taylor started as a kid playing in bars and county fairs until she got a record contract with a label that was just starting.

We here at the Swift Agency (one guy to blog it all) hope that the darn VMA incident gets downplayed in the comic. Just in case you need reminding, that incident didn’t start Taylor Swift’s career. It just made mainstream media clue in. Taylor already owed her fame and success to country fans and country radio.

We already reported about Taylor’s commercial for the Sony TX7 Cyber-shot on her Entertainment Tonight interview but a new picture recently appeared to promote the camera. The Sony commercial airs April 26. I can’t wait to see the commercial, although I must admit my interest in the camera is not really the motivation.

Let’s admit it, she would look cute holding a phone book.

The Fearless One’s Fearless Tour continues. It’s hard to believe that it started April 23, on Evansville, Indiana. It’s been a whole year and we’re now in the second leg with sold-out performances. It’s cool that it sells out this fast, with the downside of… it selling out this fast. The tour continues on Lexington, Kentucky on April 29.

Eleven days left to vote for the first round of CMT Music Award nominations. Be sure to vote for Taylor! Voting closes on May 3. The CMT Music Awards air from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, live 8/7c.
