With a new webepisode this Wednesday, Lady Antebellum took a moment to remember and pay tribute to all their friends and families who in some way have been affected or who have lost someone to cancer.
Charles Kelley’s father-in-law was diagnosed with cancer back in July 2009. “It was pretty scary,” Charles had previously told E! Online. “But he’s fighting it right now. They shrunk it down to almost nothing. He’s doing really good, right back out working.”
Hillary Scott also has her reasons. Her paternal grandfather died from cancer. A close friend of her mother’s is fighting the disease. “She is fighting for her life right now. She’s working really really hard to fight it,” said Hillary. “I think so much of it is being able to rally together with your friends and family. And having that fighting spirit of mind over matter and doing everything you can do to stay healthy.”
