Taylor Swift talked to Simon Mayo and gave a performance on the BBC Radio 2 in London. Here is her acoustic rendition of Mine.
Thanks to TaylorSwiftHDSource for posting! We happen to love it. Best version I’ve heard so far. Crisp clear and her voice is excellent ๐
Countdown to Speak Now is T minus 4 days.
US Magazine has posted a review of the Fearless One’s upcoming album Speak Now. The review gives the album four stars and qualifies that , “Taylor Swift has again achieved the near impossible. The wunderkind, 20, follows up her second CD, Fearless — 2009’s bestseller and winner of the Album of the Year Grammy — with a third bundle of melodic, cathartic country-pop.” It also concludes by saying “It’s another unrestrained grand slam.” Read the original review on US Magazine.
MTV.com reports they will be broadcasting Taylor Swift’s performance on MTV.com at the UN building in New York City on October 25 at 7/6c. The article goes on to say the album represents Taylor’s growing into womanhood artistically. In my honest and not so humble opinion, Taylor has had a very wise head on her shoulders for many years now but I will agree her songwriting has evolved. Read the full articleย on MTV.com.
The Fearless One appears in the upcoming issue on People coming this Friday. According to People, Taylor comes clean on her relationships on her songs. On the interview however, she remains coy about naming people directly. “I will say everything in my music,” she tells the magazine. “There’s been extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme curveballs. Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them.”
“Being single is wonderful and I love it,” she added. “I don’t ever have a morning where I wake up and say, ‘I really need to find a boyfriend today.'”
And you’re going to kill me but there was a promotion I just learned of from 1iota.com to get people to attend three performances of Taylor Swift – they’re sold out. However, at least we get to know when/where they happen. October 25 and 26 on New York City and October 29 in Los Angeles. Yeah I learned this one WAY too late. The folks in the ninja department are bummed out. The ones in New York City match the UN and the Today performances, but the nature of the one on October 29 is yet to be determined.
Oh, here’s a rare treat. This is Taylor Swift singing an acoustic cover of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida at the BBC Radio 2.
Fearless One indeed ๐ I like her cover. Thanks TaylorSwiftHDSource for posting!
