She will love you always, Asia. The Outspoken One at her young 21 years of age achieved something that every artist dreams of. She has become an artist recognized around the world. It’s not a surprise for her fans at all. We kinda knew already.
Back in the days of the country festivals and garnering fans in MySpace, the name of Taylor’s fan club was the Taylor Nation. Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy to blog it all, we think the Nation went global a long time ago.
Fans come in all shapes and sizes and… names! A lot of fans have acquired the name Swifties. Some fans just prefer to call themselves fans. I’ve also heard Taylorites, Swifts and Swiftaholics. Even here we came up with our own name, Taylorgeeks, to address all of us who tend to learn all the trivia about the Forever and Always Fearless One. Actually I came up with it because I don’t own a lot of Taylor merch – so I collect trivia 😉
I’ve always approached fandom with care. While some fans think of Taylor as perfect, I actually love the fact that she’s real. Yes, Taylor can model for a magazine – but I love her more when she’s making faces, goofing off or acting silly. She’s more human and relatable that way. That’s just me. Meeting her is the dream of dreams for all fans. How would it go? Well… I think it would go something like what happened for this fan. She’s with a group of people a distance from the CMA’s red carpet when she gets a ticket to actually go in! You might think that is really lucky but you will not believe what happens next!
