Greetings Taylor Nation,
Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who’s still confused about what time it is with the daylight savings thing, we’re pretty sure most UK Swifties are aware that the Princess in Red is coming your way, y’all! Put another shrimp on the barbie – oops sorry, wrong country. Give yourself 500 Swiftie points if you know that reference. The Agency is on its way to the UK.
Ryan Seacrest will host the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve party from Times Square made famous by the late Dick Clark. The American Idol host spilled the beans during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon hinting they were very close to confirm one huge superstar. “We haven’t announced it yet,” said Ryan. “But wouldn’t it be great if we could get, there’s a female artist out there that’s setting records in terms of what she’s selling, recently. She loves the color red. And if you’re with her, you may never, ever, ever, be back together with her. And she loves a good break-up anthem.”
Despite all the clues, we’re still scratching our heads here. You can see the clip on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
And speaking about clips, I thought I’d give you some highlights from the 46th CMA Awards. Most of these I discovered via Jencita’s Tumblr 🙂
Here’s the comedic duo of Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood making the intro. Thanks to FruAmanda for posting!
Yes, they took a shot at Taylor. I think everyone that’s nominated knows that they’re fair game. We never see T-Swizzle’s immediate reaction.
Miranda Lambert’s acceptance speech for Female Vocalist of the Year was awesome. She gives everyone else nominated an awesome shoutout. “I’ve been listening to Red all week,” she tells the Sparkly Dressed. “It’s freaking awesome.” Thanks to cmntexas for posting!
And the last shoutout comes completely unexpected from none other than Ellen DeGeneres as she accepts her Mark Twain award. Ellen actually quotes the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar. Just watch:
Oh, and it hasn’t have anything to do with the clips above but it turns out November 4th is pretty memorable. Here’s Scott Borchetta explaining what happened this day at the Bluebird Cafe:
The Sparkly Dressed will switch on the Christmas lights at Westfield Shopping Center on Tuesday, November 6 at 6pm (London time) in London, UK.
I’m guessing she will remain in Europe for the 2012 MTV EMA on November 11. However, I can’t say for sure about her whereabouts between these dates. You want to see the Queen of Sparks win some awards? VOTE! She’s nominated for:

the EMAs are in Germany not the UK
Sorry, I meant to type Europe there. Corrected.
