Taylor Swift continues to prove concert after concert she’s got what it takes to entertain. Wish there was a way to tell her she’s good at entertaining people over a period of time, say a year for instance. Perhaps some sort of award called Entertainer of the Year? Someone should contact the ACM’s and tell them to make an award like that. Perhaps make it fan-voted through a website.
For the very slow, that means Vote for Taylor!
The ACM Awards are this Sunday, and Taylor is ready for the stage. Contrary to what a lot of people imagine, Taylor has no problem sharing the spotlight. It was Butch Walker playing the banjolin at the Grammy’s earlier this year. For the ACM Awards, the Fearless One is bringing a college a-capella group from UC San Diego, the Tritones.
Here’s the Tritones’ YouTube performance of You Belong With Me. Thanks to Jadesingsnonstop for posting!
According to TheBoot.com, Taylor was so enchanted with their performance she contacted their student manager and invited them to sing with her. The ACM Awards air on CBS this Sunday, April 18 at 8:00PM EST. We’re kind of nervous for Tay (and by we, I mean everyone at the Swift Agency, which is population one at the moment). I’m already thinking the critics are going to say Taylor’s trying to hide her voice or some other crap. Ninja department please stand by.

Taylor’s Fearless Tour swept through California. Fresno was delighted and fans couldn’t get enough according to the Fresno Bee. Great reviews from San Jose, California according to the San Francisco Examiner. But the gem on the crown comes from a review of the Fearless album from a recent Swift convert author, Kyle Anderson, from MTV Newsroom who didn’t know what to expect. Definitely great reading material, and that’s harder to come by than what you would think.
Please vote for Taylor Swift in CMT’s first round of nominations and don’t forget to vote for Taylor to win ACM Entertainer of the Year. Only 4 days remaining! The ACM Awards air this Sunday, April 18! Taylor’s next appearance will be Los Angeles, California on April 15. Tickets are now on sale for the CMT Awards, which take place on June 9. Confused? Go check the Calendar! 🙂
