You are the best thing that’s ever been Mine… Released!

Let’s start with the bad news. Mine was leaked as a low quality mp3. Boo, right? Ok, that’s where the bad news end.

The good news start with Big Machine Records opting for a super-jedi-ninja-quick early release of the single to stations and iTunes. The single was also rush released to country radio stations to make sure the song would be heard as the Fearless One intended it to be.

So, what are you still doing here reading? Does the blonde with the guitar like sparkly dresses? Do I really need to tell you anything else? GO BUY IT ALREADY. If you, like me, are in Canada, you’ll be glad to know it is on iTunes Canada as well.

What can you expect from the song? The studio version is an easy to listen country song with a great hook, and if a word should jump at you from that description is the word country. The song would be a great fit to any contemporary country song playlist on the radio but it has an unmistakable Taylor-esque flavor. Mine is definitely country.

The song, as Taylor herself confessed, as well as the next album, Speak Now, carries a confession from Taylor about her recent trend to run away from love as she expressed on her recent webchat. Mine itself is upbeat which makes me believe the video to be released next year may get a happy ending. The entire album has been produced once again by Taylor Swift along with Nathan Chapman.

Speak Now will be available for pre-sale on August 20 at www.SpeakNow13.com.

The Sparkly Dressed better be practicing her linguistic skills, she’s on her way to Japan to perform at the Summer Sonic Festival this weekend, August 7 in Osaka and August 8 in Tokyo.

Monday, August 9, is the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift is nominated for Choice Music Female Artist and Choice Music Female Country Artist. Valentine’s Day is nominated for Choice Movie Romantic Comedy. Don’t expect Taylor to make an appearance though. Correction: The Teen Choice Awards has announced the Sparkly Dressed is scheduled to appear. Please VOTE!

She is also once again nominated for MTV’s Video Music Awards for Female Video of the Year for Fifteen. Please VOTE as well!

Speak Now is released internationally on October 25 on iTunes and radio stations everywhere.
