Taylor on the BBC Switch 5:19 Show

What a week! You probably already heard of Taylor Swift and The Agency performing atop a double decker bus in Hollywood and Highland last October 29. Yeah, that was the mystery date we couldn’t figure out. The Outspoken One summoned every swiftie in the vicinity via twitter.

You can even see the video on our previous entry. Watch out for Amos J. Heller, her bass player on the right, rocking out to Long Live. That’s just one of the many great songs you can find on Speak Now.

We had to use this picture for the post with the Outspoken One hugging Caitlin Evanson, her fiddle player who’s also a great guitar player and great friend, because it was just too cute to pass up.

Taylor taped an interview for the 5:19 Show on BBC Switch that just aired yesterday, October 30. Let’s go to the video, shall we?

I know that during the interview they say, “tomorrow is Halloween” but it’s planned that way on TV. How can I tell? Because I can read in Twitter that Grant Mickelson and Paul Sidoti, guitar players for The Agency, just raced through L. A. tonight to get to the Nokia Theatre to watch Lady Antebellum yet they play with the band in this Mine performance.

Nice glasses, Grant! 🙂 Is it my imagination, or is this live version closer to the pop mix?

And for the record, we know there’s a ton of material from The Ellen DeGeneres Show already on the internet. We’re going to wait for the actual show to air on Monday, November 1st before posting any spoilers. No, we don’t judge other sites for posting it, we just want to wait for the show to air. It’s a matter of personal preference. The only thing we will give away is this official promo with Taylor Swift answering a couple of questions backstage:

Coming up, straight from the Calendar!

  • November 1: The Speak Now Album Release Party will air on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, November 1st (syndicated, check local listings).
  • November 2: Taylor will be back on Los Angeles to perform on Dancing With the Stars, airing on ABC at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT)..
