Taylor Swift rocks South Korea, an Enchanted valentine and the Civil Wars

The Outspoken One and the Agency had a great time in South Korea and rocked Seoul! Amos partook in some very exotic food. Spoon worms, anyone? Err… I’ll pass. Also, I did see what you did there, Liz. That sounds like a joke I would write.

In case you’re wondering, I didn’t add “Inside Speak Now” to the title because I’m not always going to be discussing concert details. I hope you don’t mind the picture. I don’t think I’m giving anything away there.

I wonder if I should mention to The Agency that there might be roaming charges for tweeting overseas. Remember at the end of the second leg of the Fearless Tour when Liz had a roaming bill as high as her rent? Don’t worry, I’m sure they’re all in a group plan by now. I wonder how much is the International Superstar Band Members Unlimited Voice & Data Plan each month.

Adam Young, better known as the musical project Owl City, has composed a special mix of Enchanted that replies to the original for Valentine’s Day. I don’t think I’m going to spoil it at this point if I mention that Tay’s secret message in Enchanted is… you know what, if you have the Speak Now lyrics sheet, you can go look. To listen to the Enchanted reply, check out the Owl City official website.

Billboard.com announced Music’s top 40 money-makers. With the sales for Speak Now going through the roof and the songstress named as Nielsen SoundScan’s top-selling artist of 2010, Taylor Swift ranks as number 6 with an estimated value of $20,730,431. Realize Taylor tends to keep the costs of her tour tickets and merchandise down and still gets the 6th spot. I am considering an editorial on ticket sales when I have some free time (so, not this year then).

The Civil Wars, a popular folk music duo from Nashville formed by John Paul White and Joy Williams, recently tweeted this picture with both the Outspoken One and Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum when they showed up at their latest concert in Nashville. In the picture from left to right: John, Hillary, Taylor and Joy.

The Civil Wars are giving out a free single, if you want to check them out.

Taylor Swift is nominated for two Kids Choice Awards: Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Song for Mine. The show airs in Nickelodeon live from Los Angeles on April 2, one night before the ACM Awards.
