The Enchantress has decided to sell tickets for charity to the last dress rehearsal for the Speak Now tour, according to the Associated Press. All the proceeds (100% of the tickets for the event) will help out the families affected by the tornadoes last month. The fundraiser event is being called “Speak Now… Help Now!”
13,000 tickets will be made available for the show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on May 21. The Sparkly Dressed and The Agency have been rehearsing there to closed doors for the last five weeks.
“I was watching the coverage of the tornadoes backstage at rehearsals, and I wanted to do something for the families affected by the damage. I’ve never opened a rehearsal to the public before, but I felt that inviting my fans to the last rehearsal for the ‘Speak Now’ tour would be a great way to raise money,” said Taylor.
“We will probably still be doing some fine-tuning to the show that night, since this will be a true rehearsal, but I feel like it is so important for me and my fans to help if we can.”
The Outspoken One has donated to the relief efforts of Japan, Australia and New Zealand earlier this year.
