Taylor Swift expected at the Cavendish Fest this Saturday

The Cavendish Beach Music Festival is coming up. No, I’m not done packing yet. I’m almost about ready… to get started. I’ll be leaving tomorrow for a fun five days in PEI, Canada. That’s Prince Edward Island for you non-Canadian folks, eh?

As reported by CBC News, everything seems to be ready in the island for the arrival of the crowd which is expected to be close to 100,000 people. That’s a lot. I hope I can see something. Local news are bragging about having the Fearless One as the headliner, but I want to be fair. The festival has several headliners, including no less than Keith Urban (Thursday 8th), Little Big Town (Friday 9th) and Lady Antebellum (Sunday 11th). I’m also looking forward to Gloriana (Thursday 8th) and the Road Hammers (Sunday 8th) who are main opening acts. Taylor is due to perform as the headliner on Saturday, July 10th.

Although I expect the Agency to be in full session, it’s going to be hard for T-Swizzle to bring about the legendary Fearless stage to PEI. That also means I am not expecting the equally Fearless dance crew to make an appearance. However, we’re talking about the Fearless One here so you can’t really count anything out. Even with just the Agency in session she might improvise something for the Festival.

Perhaps she’ll pull at least one on-stage costume change like she did back in Australia in ’08 where she switched from what appeared to be a jeans-and-t-shirt ensemble to… wait for it… a sparkly dress.

With the Fearless Tour officially over, Taylor’s efforts are aimed now towards her eagerly expected third album. She’s consistently kept a two year distance between her album releases. Her self-titled debut album came out in 2006 and her multi-platinum album Fearless came out in 2008. There’s no word on what the third album will be called but Swifties everywhere seem to agree on calling it Why-Isn’t-It-Out-Already.
