It’s alright, just wait and see. Travels, rumors and some news.

We here at the Swift Agency often have to make a monumental effort every time we read articles criticizing Taylor’s talent, behavior or even just insulting her for no good reason. Don’t worry, we don’t spend too much time on the insulting articles. Those are forwarded to guys on the Ninja department. Rumors however, can be a really difficult lot to sort out.

Fans in the Philippines are going to have to wait for Taylor a while longer. According to the Manila Bulletin, concert organizers Divan media were pushing for an October appearance of the Fearless One. They had aimed for October 22nd, but Taylor Swift’s schedule was packed. To top it off, someone jumped the gun and promotions for the yet unconfirmed concert start flying. This is particularly dissapointing for Swifties in the Philippines, as local commerce franchises started concerts for free tickets advertising the rumored date. Announcements from Taylor’s management were published letting fans know Taylor Swift was not scheduled to perform on the date nor the locale that were advertised in such promotions, but the damage was done. Right now there is no concert scheduled. For more information, please consult the excellent Taylor Swift Philippines website.

Country Music is Love is a great site for country news. After the CMA nominations were announced, there’s been a lot of talk from fans about their favorite artists been snubbed so the website recently posted an article on the CMA Awards nomination criteria. Head over there to read all about it. It’s an interesting and very illuminating article. You can also follow @cmilove on Twitter.

There are rumors flying back and forth about leaks all the time in Twitter. Rule of thumb, wait for the official word from Big Machine Records or Taylor Swift. Until then, it’s either not true or a leak. Nothing is confirmed until it shows up in the official sites. I usually trust a few sites depending on the kind of news they’re reporting. For instance, I will trust a website that report Tay was shopping in downtown LA if they have pictures. If a website reports Taylor said something in a conversation with E! Online, I go to E! Online, find the news and make sure I quote that source instead. If it sounds too good to be true, wait for the blond with the guitar to Speak Now. Or sing about it.

In other news, I haven’t mention the talented Mallary Hope in a while. She’s scheduled to perform at the Bluebird Cafe on Thursday, Oct 7, 2010 as reported by MallaryHopeFans.com. Taylor was thrilled to perform there knowing that’s where Faith Hill got her first break. As it so happens Taylor also met a studio executive named Scott Borchetta after performing there who was starting a new label called Big Machine Records. The rest is history. Mallary is a signed MCA recording artist already but more exposure is better than less.

Lady Antebellum kicked off their Need You Now tour in Florida starting with Orlando, Clearwater and St. Augustine. You can see their rehearsals in yesterday’s Webisode Wednesday.

Tonight, September 23, Taylor Swift performs at the All For The Hall fundraiser at Club Nokia, Los Angeles that benefits the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Next week, she travels to Italy.
