Enjoy your weekend, Taylor Nation.

The Queen of Sparks will perform from Sydney, Australia for the Grammy Nominations ConcertUpdate! Now it seems this is a pre-recorded performance. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s still working the equations into the flux capacitor, we’re now fairly certain that the Princess in Red will get some Grammy nominations this year.

Last night, November 30 (again, they’re a day ahead!), in New Zealand, “You Belong With Me” was once more played acoustically. Does it mean it was the secret song twice in a row or does it mean it’s still in the setlist and there was no secret song? Only T-Swizzle knows for sure.  Shoutout to local updaters @REDTourAUS

Happy Thanksgiving, Taylor Nation! I’m thankful for you 🙂

The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar went global as The RED Tour revved its engines and started anew at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on November 29. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s always thankful for all the people who choose to read this blog, we know everyone had a ball.

We’d also like to take the opportunity and thank all the members of The Agency, the back up singers, the techs, the roadies and everyone in Team Taylor for the sacrifice of going halfway around the world and not being able to spend  Thanksgiving with their families. Guys and gals, you rock. Thanks for all your hard work.

According to the New Zealand Herald, “The leggy blonde was confident, energetic, chatty, and all smiles as she basked in the adoration of her fans.” The author, Lydia Jenkin, was particularly impressed with Taylor’s performance during Red calling it “one of her stand out vocal performances of the evening, showcasing her ability to swing between fragile and vulnerable, and charging power.”

Meanwhile, the Fairfax NZ News reported via Stuff that kiwi artist Lorde was at the concert, putting an end to rumors of any animosity between the two songstresses. You can read about the end of that rumor at Stuff NZ.

The Sydney Morning Herald decided to highlight the fact that the Enchantress has reached  Madonna-level status. Which she has done, if I might add, without emulating Madonna-level style.

The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar has retired You Belong With Me from the set list, but it made a comeback as the secret song of her first RED Tour opening concert, November 29. Let’s go to the video!

When you mix Tequila and a Broken Heart: Mallary Hope brings it!

Hello residents of Hopesville!

Yes, that’s me trying to come up with yet another reference to the ever-growing fandom of Mallary Hope. It’s a work in progress. Anyway, the songstress from Cohutta has been a busy bee. After what seems to be a very prolific songwriting session, she posted a lot of material to her Soundcloud

Add that to the material she already had and we might be hearing stuff for future albums. No word yet on when will her first studio album be out, but we can only… yes, sorry, I have to do it… we can only HOPE it’s soon.

We’ll start with this song which is growing in popularity. This would be the song I would pick that as her first single for Country Radio. “Tequila and a Broken Heart” is a playful song about heartbreak that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Up next, we’re going with a bit of more Country rock with Crazy After Midnight. If you think the Hopester can’t rock out with her bad self, you’re mistaken. Mal is known for her romantic songs, but she has more than enough range to pull this one off.

This track is so well done and I’d say this one is really studio quality. This is one amazing track that shows how far Mallary has gone. If you don’t think Miss Hope is ready for primetime, please have a listen to this song. This is So Gone.

There’s more where than came from, but here’s a bonus song for you. This one’s not one of hers, it’s a cover of Trisha Yearwood’s Walkaway Joe. It’s just to highlight her beautiful voice.

Coming up for Mallary!

News Update: Jon Bon Jovi sings Livin’ on a Prayer with T-Swizzle and Prince William

(Photo: Dominic Lipinski – WPA Pool/Getty Images)

We’re halfway there, Taylor Nation.

It was up to Jon Bon Jovi to close the Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala, and no better way that with his classic “Livin’ On A Prayer”. To make sure he brought down the house, lift the roof or whatever is it you crazy kids are saying these days, he invited the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar and Prince… Prince William that is. It was all for a good cause.

Yes, it was a little bit awkward and I’m sure the critics will have a field day but Taylor was her usual adorkable self. The story goes Prince William agreed to take the stage as long as the Princess in Red Who Was Wearing White That Night (temporal nickname don’t worry) would do the same. The result was a Kodak moment if I ever saw one and why don’t I stop talking and put up the video clip already – here we go:

The Queen of Sparks at the Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala

We can be royals, Taylor Nation.

The Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala took place tonight, November 26 at the Kensington Palace in London, UK. According to their official siteCentrepoint provides a safe place to live for more than 1,000 young people, aged 16-25, every year in London and the North East of England. For up to two years they help young people to get their lives back on track. Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s always had the good fortune of having a roof about his head, we can appreciate the real goal behind the gala: helping the homeless youth in the UK.

And yes, that is a beautiful dress the Enchantress is wearing. She exchanged some pleasantries with the royalty. Taylor Swift will do an acoustic performance. Also performing that same night is Jon Bon Jovi. You can see more pictures at DailyMail.

T-Swizzle is expected in New Zealand by November 29 and given the way the world turns she will need to be there as soon as possible.
