I’d like to be my old self again but I’m still trying to find it, Taylor Nation.
I’ve heard Camila Cabello cried during the last performance of “Shake It Off”, and somehow I know she was not alone. It was the last two nights of the US leg of the reputation Stadium World Tour in Arlington, TX. The Sparkly Dressed will take her tour to Australia, New Zealand and Japan next. She just wouldn’t end the last leg in the US without a bang, of course.
The Blonde With The Green Guitar Which Used To Be Sparkly brought out surprise guest Maren Morris on Friday (October 5, 2018) to sing “The Middle”.
The first night at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington got the surprise song that is Taylor’s first ever Grammy for Best Country Song, the iconic “White Horse”.
She couldn’t have just anybody on closing night, so instead she graced the last show with the first ever live performance of “Babe” along with the Country duo Sugarland. Yes, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush took the stage for the first time ever live performance of “Babe” with all three performers.
The last night also had the best highlight as fan favorite “All Too Well” returned to the b-stage as the surprise song.
The Sparkly Dressed is up for Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock and Favorite Album Pop/Rock for the American Music Awards. The show is live on ABC on Tuesday, October 9th. The most important thing you need to know is that she is attending and performing as the opening act. She’s actually supposed to unveil a live performance of “I Did Something Bad” which is a song I’d really like mainstream to get stuck in their heads just so they know Taylor can still make bops.
The Enchantress is also up for three People’s Choice Awards with Female Artist of the Year, Concert Tour of the Year and Social Celebrity of the Year. The show airs Sunday, November 11th.
Coming up next in the Calendar:
- October 9: The American Music Awards live on ABC. Taylor Swift is nominated for Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist Pop/Rock and Favorite Album Pop/Rock.
- October 19: Optus Stadium. Perth, Australia.
- October 26: Etihad Stadium. Melbourne, Australia.
